Reformers in sustainable environmental planning

Prepare to rethink how land, resources, and communities are planned through practical, skills‑based training. This certificate supports professionals ready to advance inclusive, resilient, and sustainable planning outcomes in a rapidly changing world.

Graduate Certificate in Environmental Planning

This certificate is designed for people who want to work in environmental planning or are already building a career in areas like environmental consulting, land and resource management, community and regional planning, or decision‑making roles in both Indigenous and non‑Indigenous contexts.

Offered online, the program will help you develop practical and skills-based training to transition to the workforce or continue to grow in your current role. It’s a strong fit if you’re early or mid‑career and looking to adapt to new technologies, changing policies, and new ways of thinking about how places and environments are planned.

The program is grounded in the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on real‑world challenges such as clean water, climate action, responsible resource use, and sustainable living. You will work with current tools and planning approaches that bring together environmental, social, economic, and governance perspectives to support inclusive, evidence‑based decisions and more resilient communities.
